How to report an error, request a correction or ask us to remove content.
Our commitment
We republish the work of others, so accuracy is about two things: crediting each story correctly (outlet, author, date and link) and translating it faithfully. If we get either wrong, we fix it.
Report an error
Write to [email protected] with:
- the link to the story on Venezuela Record;
- what is wrong (credit, date, translation, category…);
- if possible, a source that shows the correct information.
We reply within 7 days.
When we correct a story we update it. If the change affects its meaning, we add a note explaining what was corrected and when.
Removal requests
If you are the author, the original outlet or the rights holder of a story and you want it changed or removed from Venezuela Record, write to [email protected] from an address we can associate with you or your organization, including the link to the story. We will reply within 7 days and, when the request is justified, remove the content.
If the original changes
If the original outlet corrects or withdraws a story, tell us and we will update or remove our republication accordingly.
