Voluntad Popular stands with the Venezuelan people in their decision not to take part in Nicolás Maduro’s next electoral farce.
Millions of Venezuelans expressed themselves in the last presidential election by choosing Edmundo González Urrutia as President of the Republic, and then left the voting centers empty on May 25 in the electoral farce called by the regime.
On both occasions, the message from the residents of every municipality in the country was the same: Venezuela wants to choose its own destiny, to move toward freedom and democracy.
At Voluntad Popular we have not turned the page on July 28. That day, the Venezuelan people spoke with strength and courage. Our struggle continues, and we will not rest until the vote has value again in Venezuela and citizens can decide their future in freedom.
