Unions and retirees take to the streets to demand wage increases after Maduro's capture

Hundreds of workers, union members and retirees marched on March 12, 2026, in Caracas and other cities to demand wage increases and, for the first time in years, reached the National Assembly to deliver their demands. The minimum wage remains 130 bolívars (about US$0.29), unchanged for four years.
