Venezuela ends 2025 on a "hyperinflationary threshold" and with hopelessness about the future

Economists interviewed by Diario Las Américas place Venezuela, at the close of 2025, on the threshold of hyperinflation: inflation projections range from over 280% to over 750%, with a sharp fall of the bolívar, despite slight oil-driven GDP growth. They argue that recovery requires a change of government.
